Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning mix, and diced green onions. Stir until well blended.
- Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Assembly and Baking
- Using a spoon, fill each chicken breast with the cream cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly over the topped chicken if using.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the top is golden brown.
Serving
- Once cooked, let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with your choice of sides.
Notes
Feel free to use different shredded cheeses like mozzarella or pepper jack. Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
