Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups Velveeta cheese, cubed Ensure it's cubed for easier melting.
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

Method

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients. Ensure your Velveeta cheese is cubed to allow for easier melting.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, add the Velveeta cheese and unsalted butter. Stir continuously until melted and smooth.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the powdered sugar and cocoa powder, mixing well to break up clumps.
  4. Gradually pour the melted Velveeta and butter mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir until fully combined. Add the vanilla extract and mix until the fudge reaches a uniform consistency.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9x9-inch baking dish. Smooth the top with a spatula. Allow it to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate until firm — about 2 hours.
  6. Once set, lift the fudge out of the baking dish, cut into squares, and enjoy!

Notes

For a dairy-free option, consider experimenting with dairy-free cheese alternatives. Keep heat low to avoid burning the mixture and avoid overmixing to preserve texture.
