Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, then mix in the granulated sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well with each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the butter and sugar mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips for an extra chocolatey kick!
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
