Preparation

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, sour cream, milk, and season generously with salt and pepper. Mix until creamy and smooth.
  3. Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled cooked chicken, and chopped green onions, ensuring everything is well-distributed.
  4. Spoon the mashed potato mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish or any casserole dish of your choice.
  5. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs evenly across the top. Optionally, drizzle with olive oil or melted butter.
