Ingredients

For the Tuna Bomb Filling
  • 2 cans canned tuna, drained 5 oz each
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1-2 tbsp hot sauce to taste
For Serving
  • Crackers or cucumber slices for serving

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the canned tuna, softened cream cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, and hot sauce. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
  3. Using your hands, scoop out the mixture and form small balls (about the size of a golf ball). You can adjust the size according to preference!
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the tuna balls on the sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart to allow for even cooking.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until they are golden brown on the outside.
  6. Once done, let them cool for a few minutes. Serve hot with crackers or cucumber slices for dipping. Enjoy!

Notes

Substitutions: If cream cheese isn’t your thing, try using cottage cheese or a vegan cream cheese alternative for a lighter option. Timing: Allow the baked Tuna Bombs to cool slightly before serving; they hold up better and are easier to handle when warm but not too hot. Avoid Mistakes: Make sure the cream cheese is softened fully before mixing for a smoother filling.
