Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the canned tuna, softened cream cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, and hot sauce. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
- Using your hands, scoop out the mixture and form small balls (about the size of a golf ball). You can adjust the size according to preference!
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the tuna balls on the sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart to allow for even cooking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until they are golden brown on the outside.
- Once done, let them cool for a few minutes. Serve hot with crackers or cucumber slices for dipping. Enjoy!
Notes
Substitutions: If cream cheese isn’t your thing, try using cottage cheese or a vegan cream cheese alternative for a lighter option. Timing: Allow the baked Tuna Bombs to cool slightly before serving; they hold up better and are easier to handle when warm but not too hot. Avoid Mistakes: Make sure the cream cheese is softened fully before mixing for a smoother filling.
