  • 1 cup salsa Choose your favorite brand or homemade.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar or Mexican blend recommended.
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes Fresh or canned tomatoes can be used.
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños Optional for spice.
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce For garnish.
  • 1/4 cup sour cream For topping.
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro Optional for garnish.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure a perfectly crispy crust.
  2. Roll out your pizza crust onto a baking sheet or pizza stone, making it thicker around the edges if desired.
  3. Spread a layer of refried beans evenly over the pizza crust.
  4. Pour salsa over the layer of refried beans and spread it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the salsa.
  6. Add diced tomatoes, sliced black olives, and jalapeños if using.
  7. Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let the pizza cool for a few minutes after baking, then add shredded lettuce, sour cream, and chopped cilantro on top.
  9. Cut the pizza into slices and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
