  • 2 large large cucumbers Washed and peeled
  • 1 cup sour cream Can substitute with Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar Use white or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • to taste Salt Start with a pinch and adjust as needed

  • to taste Fresh dill or parsley For garnish

Preparation
  1. Start by washing and peeling the cucumbers. Slice them into rounds or half-moons based on your preference.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is combined.
  3. Add the sliced cucumbers into the bowl with the mixture and toss gently to coat all the cucumber slices with the creamy dressing.
  4. Finely chop the fresh dill or parsley and sprinkle it over the top.
  5. Transfer the cucumbers to a serving dish and enjoy immediately, or let them chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes for a cooler treat.

Notes

For a vegan version, use plant-based yogurt instead of sour cream. Allow cucumbers to rest after mixing with the dressing for better flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days, stirring gently before serving again.
