  • 1 lb ground beef Ensure it's at room temperature for even cooking.
  • 1 pre-made pizza crust Can use homemade if preferred.
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese For topping.
  • 1/2 cup sliced halal pepperoni Substitute with your preferred toppings.
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup sliced bell peppers
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
  • 1 egg for sealing the crust

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook the beef until browned, about 7-10 minutes, then drain excess fat.
  3. Add diced onions and bell peppers to the beef, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until they soften. Stir in the pizza sauce and remove the mixture from heat.
  4. Roll out the pre-made pizza crust in a pie dish or deep-dish pan. Pour the beef mixture into the crust, then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top. Add pepperoni slices or any other toppings.
  5. Fold over the edges of the pizza crust to seal in the filling. Whisk the egg and brush it over the crust.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  7. Let the pie cool for a few minutes before slicing. It's best enjoyed warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the refrigerator, or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes.
