Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas, sliced Choose fully ripe bananas for the best flavor.
  • 1 box vanilla pudding mix Can substitute with chocolate or butterscotch pudding for variety.
  • 2 cups milk Use low-fat milk for a healthier option.
  • 1 cup whipped cream Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1 package graham crackers Use whole sheets or broken pieces for layering.
Optional Toppings
  • 1 cup additional sliced bananas For garnish.
  • 1 cup whipped cream For garnish.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the vanilla pudding mix and milk. Whisk together for about 2-3 minutes until the mixture thickens. Set aside.
  2. In a serving dish or individual glasses, start with a layer of graham crackers at the bottom. Then add a layer of pudding, followed by sliced bananas, and repeat until the dish is filled, finishing with a layer of pudding on top.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the remaining pudding until well combined, then spread over the top layer of pudding for a decadent finish.
  4. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until ready to serve.
  5. Before serving, top with additional banana slices and whipped cream if desired. Serve chilled and enjoy.

Notes

To maintain the texture of graham crackers, assemble the pudding shortly before serving. Leftover pudding can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
