Ingredients

For the Margarita
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled Use fresh for best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup sparkling water (or a non-alcoholic alternative) For a lighter version, choose a non-alcoholic sparkling beverage.
  • 1/4 cup lime juice Freshly squeezed is recommended.
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup Adjust according to taste.
  • Ice Ice For serving.
  • Salt (for rimming the glass, optional) Enhances the drink's flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by hulled and washing the strawberries. If they’re large, cut them in half to make blending easier.
  2. In a blender, add the hulled strawberries, lime juice, and simple syrup. Blend until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  3. Taste the mixture. If you prefer it sweeter, gradually add more simple syrup to suit your taste.
  4. Pour in the sparkling water and pulse gently to combine.
  5. To rim your glass with salt, rub a lime wedge around the rim and dip into salt to coat.
  6. Pour the margarita mixture into the prepared glass over ice. Garnish with a fresh strawberry or lime slice.
  7. Savor the fresh flavors with family and friends—cheers to good times!

Notes

For best results, always use freshly hulled strawberries. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, stirring gently before serving again. Avoid freezing to maintain texture.
