  • 2 cups strawberry cookies or biscuits Can substitute with vanilla or almond-flavored cookies
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted Ensure butter is melted but not bubbling
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup strawberry powder or crushed freeze-dried strawberries

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking.
  2. In a food processor, add the strawberry cookies or biscuits and pulse until they form fine crumbs.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cookie crumbs, melted unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and strawberry powder. Stir until well combined.
  4. Pour the crumb mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and spread it evenly, ensuring it's packed tightly.
  5. Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
  6. Remove from the oven and cool completely before using.

Notes

Keep in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. Can be frozen for up to 3 months. To reheat, place in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes.
