Ingredients
  

Noodles and Sauces
  • 2 packs ramen noodles
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic is recommended.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Adjust according to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce Optional but Halal-friendly.
Vegetables and Seasoning
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, peas) Feel free to substitute with available veggies.
  • 2 pieces green onions, sliced For garnish.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Optional, based on preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Begin by boiling water in a pot. Once boiling, add the ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions for 3-4 minutes until just tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.
Cooking
  1. Add the minced garlic to the hot oil and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant but not burnt.
  2. Toss in your mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until bright and tender-crisp.
  3. Add the cooked noodles back into the pan and pour in the soy sauce and optional oyster sauce. Mix everything well to coat the noodles evenly.
  4. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
  5. Finally, sprinkle the sliced green onions on top. Serve hot.

Notes

For best results, have all ingredients prepped before starting the cooking process. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge or freeze for 1 month.
