Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking sheet.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder.
- In another bowl, mix the sugar and vegetable oil until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring just until fully incorporated.
- Using a tablespoon, scoop out the cookie dough and roll it into balls; then roll each ball in powdered sugar to coat.
Baking
- Place the cookies on the greased baking sheet, leaving space between them.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the tops have crinkled.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for five minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week, or freeze separated by parchment paper for later enjoyment.
