  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Regular flour for texture
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour Adds nutrition and flavor

  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary Adds aromatic flavor
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme Adds aromatic flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, salt, cayenne pepper, dried rosemary, and dried thyme. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Pour in the olive oil and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gradually add water, mixing until the dough forms.
  5. On a floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/8 inch thick.
  6. Use a knife or cookie cutter to cut the dough into desired shapes.
Baking
  1. Place the shapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  2. Let them cool on a wire rack before enjoying.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. Freeze for longer storage and reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
