Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, salt, cayenne pepper, dried rosemary, and dried thyme. Stir until well mixed.
- Pour in the olive oil and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gradually add water, mixing until the dough forms.
- On a floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/8 inch thick.
- Use a knife or cookie cutter to cut the dough into desired shapes.
Baking
- Place the shapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Let them cool on a wire rack before enjoying.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. Freeze for longer storage and reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
