Preparation
  1. In a large pot, bring the chicken or vegetable broth to a gentle boil.
  2. Once the broth is simmering, carefully add the dumplings and cook according to package instructions (usually about 5-7 minutes) until tender.
  3. Add the spicy fermented cabbage to the pot, mixing it into the broth.
  4. Toss in your choice of noodles, adjusting the cooking time as per the package instructions.
  5. Stir in the soy sauce and sesame oil for added flavor.
  6. Ladle the soup into bowls, topping with green onions and red pepper flakes if desired.

For a Halal twist, use chicken or vegetable dumplings. Avoid skipping garnishes, as they enhance flavor and presentation.
