- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Incorporate the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend this mixture into the wet ingredients until fully combined.
- Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and colorful sprinkles.
- Using a cookie scoop, drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, making sure to leave space for spreading.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
