Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken and BBQ sauce. Stir until the chicken is well-coated.
- Add softened cream cheese, sour cream, and garlic powder to the bowl. Blend until the mixture is smooth.
- Fold in shredded cheddar cheese and half of the chopped green onions.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for about 20 minutes, until heated through and edges start to bubble.
- Once out of the oven, sprinkle with the remaining green onions.
- Serve with crackers, tortilla chips, or veggie sticks.
Notes
For substitutions, shredded turkey or canned chicken work well. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge, or freeze for up to 2 months.
