  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (Halal-friendly)

  • 8 slices provolone cheese For melting on sandwiches.
  • 4 pieces hoagie rolls Soft rolls preferred.

  1. Start by slicing the onion and mincing the garlic.
Slow Cooking
  1. Place the beef chuck roast in your slow cooker and season it with salt and pepper.
  2. Add the sliced onions and minced garlic on top.
  3. Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, covering the beef partially.
  4. Cover and set your slow cooker on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
Finishing Touches
  1. Once cooked, carefully remove the beef and shred it using two forks.
  2. Place a portion of shredded beef on a hoagie roll, top with provolone cheese, and broil until bubbly and melted.
  3. Serve with any additional toppings desired.
