Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Rinse fresh scallops under cold water and pat dry with a paper towel.
- In a bowl, combine melted butter, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well until breadcrumbs are coated.
- Place the scallops in a single layer in a baking dish. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over them.
- Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture generously over each scallop.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until topping is golden brown and scallops are cooked through.
Serving
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. They can also be frozen for about a month. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes.
