Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 12 ounces Rotini Pasta
  • 1 pound Ground Beef (ensure it's Halal)
  • 1 can Sweet Corn (drained), or Alternatively, use 2 cups frozen corn
  • 24 ounces Marinara Sauce
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
  • 1 medium Onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning

Method

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to set the stage for a perfect bake.
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the rotini pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the ground beef to the skillet. Break it apart with a spatula, seasoning it with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until it’s no longer pink, approximately 7-10 minutes.
  5. Stir in the sweet corn and marinara sauce, mixing well. Gently fold in the cooked rotini pasta until everything is well combined.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread evenly.
  7. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top generously.
  8. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your Rotini Bake with Beef and Sweet Corn with a side salad or garlic bread!

Notes

Consider using pre-cooked rotini or store-bought marinara sauce to save time. For vegetarian options, replace ground beef with canned beans or lentils.
