Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into cubes Use Halal-certified chicken for compliance.
  • ½ cup ranch dressing Ensure it's Halal-certified.
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal) If using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes.

Method

Preparation
  1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mix the cubed chicken breast, ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well-coated. Allow it to marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers, leaving a little space between pieces.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Cooking
  1. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through.
  2. If using the oven, bake for about 15-20 minutes, turning halfway through.
  3. Once cooked, sprinkle with grated Parmesan while still hot to allow melting.
Serving
  1. Let the skewers rest briefly before serving. Enjoy them straight off the grill or oven!

Notes

For variations, consider swapping ranch dressing for garlic or herb-infused options. Chicken thighs can also be used for juicier skewers.
