Base Ingredients
  • 1 cup rolled oats Use rolled oats for a chewy texture.
  • 1 cup milk (or non-dairy alternative like almond or soy milk) Choose your preferred milk type.
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter Feel free to substitute with almond or sunflower butter.
  • 2 tablespoons jelly Any flavor of your choice.
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds Optional, for added nutrition.
  • 1/2 piece banana (sliced) Optional, for extra flavor.
  • a pinch salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl or a mason jar, mix together the rolled oats, chia seeds (if using), and a pinch of salt.
  2. Pour in the milk and stir until nicely combined. Add the peanut butter and jelly, mixing well.
  3. If using banana, add the sliced pieces to the mixture.
  4. Cover your bowl or jar, and place it in the refrigerator overnight.
  5. When ready to eat, stir well and add toppings if desired.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Can be frozen, but might change texture. Reheat in the microwave, adding a splash of milk if too thick.
