Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Ensure the chicken breasts are patted dry for the best crust.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 pieces eggs Beaten until well-combined.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For sautéing.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Breading Station
  1. In a shallow dish, beat the two eggs. In another shallow dish, mix the breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
Coating the Chicken
  1. Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat it with the breadcrumb and cheese mixture, pressing down gently.
Sautéing
  1. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add the coated chicken breasts and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Baking
  1. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with preferred side dishes.

Notes

For a lower-carb option, use crushed nuts instead of breadcrumbs. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for optimal flavor.
