Preparation
- Begin by boiling water in a large pot. Once boiling, add the noodles and cook according to the package instructions until just tender, usually about 4-6 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds or until fragrant.
- Toss in your chosen vegetables and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
Combining Ingredients
- Return the cooked noodles to the pot, and pour in the soy sauce and brown sugar. Give everything a good mix, ensuring each noodle is coated with the sweet mixture.
- Stir in the sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Cook for an additional minute until everything is heated through.
Serving
- Dish out the noodles onto plates, garnish with additional sesame seeds and green onions if desired, and enjoy!
Notes
You can easily switch up the noodles; use rice noodles or whole-grain noodles for a healthier option. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. For longer storage, freeze the noodles for up to a month.
