Preparation
- Gather all your ingredients and line a baking tray with parchment paper or wax paper.
Cooking
- In a medium saucepan, mix the granulated sugar and cocoa powder.
- Pour in the milk and add the unsalted butter. Heat over medium heat until boiling, stirring constantly.
- Once at a rolling boil, let it boil for exactly 1 minute, then remove from heat.
- Stir in the rolled oats and vanilla extract. If using chocolate chips, mix them in now.
Cooling
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto your prepared baking tray. Let them cool at room temperature or refrigerate to speed up the process.
Serving
- Once set, enjoy your delicious No Bake Cookies without Peanut Butter.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about a week. They can be frozen for up to three months. To enjoy, let them warm up slightly at room temperature.
