Preparation
- Measure out all your ingredients.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the granulated sugar, cocoa powder, milk, and butter. Stir until smooth and boiling.
- Once boiling, allow the mixture to boil for about 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and mix in the peanut butter and vanilla extract.
- Stir in the quick oats until evenly coated.
- Drop rounded tablespoons onto wax or parchment paper.
- Cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes until set.
- Once set, enjoy your cookies!
Notes
To keep cookies fresh, store them in an airtight container re in the refrigerator. They last about a week. For freezing, layer with parchment paper and freeze for up to three months.
