Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk can use almond milk for a dairy-free version
  • 1 large egg

  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a mini muffin tin with paper liners or spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, and egg.
  4. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  2. Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
