Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a mini muffin tin with paper liners or spray with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, and egg.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
