Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat your chicken breasts dry with a paper towel. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the Caesar dressing and olive oil (if using). Coat each chicken breast thoroughly with this mixture.
- In a separate bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Press the breadcrumb mixture onto one side of each dressed chicken breast. Place the chicken breasts breadcrumb-side up on a greased baking dish.
Cooking
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden brown. An internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) indicates that the chicken is perfectly cooked.
- Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before slicing, then serve hot.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, substitute with dairy-free Caesar dressing and nutritional yeast instead of Parmesan. Avoid using too much dressing to keep the topping crispy. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to a month. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes or in the microwave in short bursts.
