  • 1 wheel Brie cheese Look for a nice, round wheel with a creamy texture.
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped Can substitute with walnuts or almonds.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • to taste Fresh fruit or crackers for serving Pairs well with apple slices or grapes.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Take your wheel of Brie cheese and place it on a parchment-lined baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the maple syrup, chopped pecans, and vanilla extract. Stir well.
  4. Pour the pecan and maple mixture over the Brie wheel.
Baking
  1. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is soft and gooey.
  2. Let it sit for a couple of minutes before serving with fresh fruit, crackers, or a charcuterie spread.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
