Preparation

- In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg. Whisk together until well incorporated.
- In another bowl, mix the melted unsalted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until blended well.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
Baking
- Place the pan in your preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- While the bars cool, whisk together the maple syrup and powdered sugar in a bowl until smooth for the glaze.
- Once the bars are cool, drizzle the glaze over the top.

Notes
