Ingredients
  

For the Fries
  • 1 pound Frozen French fries
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
For the Toppings
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Bacon bits, halal-certified
  • 2 Green onions, chopped
  • to serve Sour cream

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) according to the instructions for the frozen fries.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the frozen fries with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until they are well coated.
Baking
  1. Spread the fries evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake them in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through.
Topping
  1. Once the fries are baked, remove them from the oven and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the hot fries. Return to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  2. Remove the fries from the oven and sprinkle the halal bacon bits and chopped green onions on top while everything is still hot.
Serving
  1. Drizzle with sour cream over the loaded fries and serve immediately while they’re fresh and crispy. Enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to mix and match toppings. You can add jalapeños for some heat or use different cheeses like mozzarella or feta for a unique twist. Store leftover fries in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
