Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F).
- Roll out the sheet of puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into rectangles, roughly 10×15 cm (4×6 inches).
- If using pre-cooked lil beef sausages, ensure they are thoroughly prepared. For a fresh touch, add salt and pepper to taste.
- Place one sausage on each rectangle of puff pastry and gently roll the pastry around the sausage, ensuring it’s snug.
- Beat the egg in a bowl and brush egg wash over the pastry rolls.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Once out of the oven, let them cool for a minute before serving with your favorite dip.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 2-3 days. Reheat in the oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 10 minutes for best texture.
