Ingredients
  

For the Rolls
  • 200 g lil beef sausages Can substitute with minced beef mixed with spices.
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • as needed Mustard or your choice of dip Optional for serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F).
  2. Roll out the sheet of puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into rectangles, roughly 10×15 cm (4×6 inches).
  3. If using pre-cooked lil beef sausages, ensure they are thoroughly prepared. For a fresh touch, add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Place one sausage on each rectangle of puff pastry and gently roll the pastry around the sausage, ensuring it’s snug.
  5. Beat the egg in a bowl and brush egg wash over the pastry rolls.
  6. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Once out of the oven, let them cool for a minute before serving with your favorite dip.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 2-3 days. Reheat in the oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 10 minutes for best texture.
