Preparation
- In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil.
- While the water is heating, prepare your fresh ginger using a knife or grater.
- Once the water has boiled, add the sliced ginger to the pot and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Add the sliced lemon after the ginger has infused, and allow it to steep for an additional 3-5 minutes.
- If desired, add honey to sweeten and stir well until it dissolves.
- Pour your Lemon & Ginger Tea into your favorite mug, and enjoy hot!
Notes
Store leftovers in a refrigerator-safe container for up to 3 days. Reheat on low heat or in the microwave without boiling.
