Ingredients

For the marinade
  • 1 cup orange, juiced
  • 1 cup lime, juiced
  • 1 cup lemon, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
For the chicken
  • 4 pieces chicken breasts Use boneless, skinless chicken breasts for best results.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, mix the orange juice, lime juice, lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, and fresh cilantro until well combined.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated.
  3. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours for a more intense flavor.
Cooking
  1. While the chicken is marinating, heat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Remove the chicken from the marinade and allow excess marinade to drip off. Place chicken on the preheated grill.
  3. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  4. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

If you're out of cilantro, you can swap in parsley for a similar fresh note. If short on time, a quick 15-minute marinade will still add flavor, but longer marinating yields juicier results.
