Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 8 pieces lamb cutlets Use fresh lamb cutlets for best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup honey Preferably raw honey for richer flavor.
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced Adjust garlic according to taste.
  • 1/4 cup butter Use unsalted butter.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For searing the lamb.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season to preference.
  • optional Fresh herbs (such as rosemary or thyme) Use for garnishing.

Method

Preparation and Cooking
  1. Start by patting your lamb cutlets dry with paper towels.
  2. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
  4. Place the lamb cutlets in the skillet, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter and minced garlic to the pan, stirring and spooning over the cutlets for about 1-2 minutes.
  6. Drizzle the honey over the cutlets and let it caramelize slightly for an additional minute.
  7. If using fresh herbs, sprinkle them over the cutlets right before serving. Enjoy hot with your favorite side dishes!

Notes

Consider substituting chicken cutlets if lamb isn't preferred. Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
