Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out your pre-made pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges.
- Melt the unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl and allow it to cool slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until smooth.
- Stir in chocolate chips and chopped walnuts until evenly distributed.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust, spreading it evenly.
Baking
- Bake the pie for 35-40 minutes. The filling should be set but slightly jiggle in the center.
- Remove the pie and let it cool completely on a wire rack.

- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
