Ingredients

Seasoning Ingredients
  • 1 cup dried parsley
  • 1/4 cup dried dill
  • 1/4 cup garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Method

Preparation
  1. Measure out all the ingredients accurately.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the dried parsley, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Taste and adjust; if you prefer a more pronounced garlic flavor, feel free to add more garlic powder.
  4. Transfer the seasoning blend into an airtight container. Label it with the date, and store it in a cool, dry place.
  5. The seasoning can last up to six months, so you'll have plenty of time to enjoy its flavor.
Usage
  1. Use your homemade ranch seasoning to flavor everything from salads to grilled meats.

Notes

Store the seasoning in a dark, cool pantry for maximum shelf life; excess heat and light can diminish flavor. You can substitute fresh parsley in place of dried but use more since fresh herbs are more potent.
