Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Can substitute with crushed oats or almond flour.
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
For the Glaze
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce Ensure it's a halal-friendly brand.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon mustard

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, minced garlic, chopped onion, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
  1. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until cooked through.
  2. While the meatballs are baking, prepare the cranberry glaze by combining the cranberry sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, and mustard in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until heated through.
  3. Remove the meatballs from the oven and drizzle with the cranberry glaze. Toss gently to coat before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Cooked meatballs can be frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat in an oven or air fryer for best results.
