Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure even baking.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent.
  3. Add ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula.
  4. Sprinkle paprika, salt, and pepper over the turkey mixture, stirring well to combine.
  5. Stir in diced sweet potatoes, then pour in chicken broth.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top if using.
Baking
  1. Bake uncovered for about 30-35 minutes, or until sweet potatoes are tender and mixture is bubbling.
  2. Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

If using ground turkey isn't preferred, substitute with ground chicken or lean beef. For a quicker option, microwave the diced sweet potatoes before adding to the skillet.
