  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin Start with less if you're unsure.
  • 1 tsp paprika Can adjust based on taste preference.

  1. Gather all your ingredients. Dice the sweet potatoes, chop the onion, and mince the garlic to streamline the cooking process.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat a splash of olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced sweet potatoes and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they begin to soften, stirring occasionally.
  2. Introduce the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  3. Add the ground turkey to the skillet. Season it with cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart and stirring until fully cooked and browned.
  4. Toss in the rinsed black beans and stir until everything is well combined. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish as desired. Serve hot for a comforting and filling meal.

Notes
