For the Wrap
  • 4 whole whole wheat tortillas
  • 2 cups sliced grilled turkey Can be freshly grilled or pre-cooked.
  • 1 cup lettuce Romaine or iceberg.
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1 cup cheese Swiss or cheddar work perfectly.
  • 2 tablespoons mustard or mayonnaise Your choice for added flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Gather your grilled turkey, which can be either freshly grilled or pre-cooked. Slice your tomato and wash your lettuce to ensure everything is fresh.
Warming the Tortillas
  1. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Lightly warm the tortillas for about 10-15 seconds on each side until they become pliable.
Layering
  1. Place one tortilla on a clean surface. Begin layering with ½ cup of sliced grilled turkey, followed by lettuce, tomato slices, cheese, and drizzle your preferred mustard or mayonnaise on top.
Wrapping
  1. Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then start rolling from one end to the other, ensuring the filling stays inside.
Grilling
  1. Place the wrap seam-side down in the skillet and grill for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn golden brown and the cheese begins to melt.
Serving
  1. Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve warm. Enjoy your delicious Grilled Turkey Wrap!

Notes

You can customize your wrap with different proteins or toppings. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to three days or freeze before grilling for up to three months. Reheat in a skillet over low heat.
