Ingredients
  

For the donuts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour May substitute with whole wheat flour.
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar Can use sugar substitute for a healthier version.
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup milk Use any type of milk.
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
For the glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp milk Adjust for desired glaze consistency.

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
  3. Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms. Be careful not to overmix!
Shaping and Cooking
  1. Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the dough to about 1/2 inch thick.
  2. Use a donut cutter or two round cookie cutters (one larger and one smaller) to cut out donuts and holes.
  3. Following the manufacturer’s instructions, preheat your air fryer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the donuts in the air fryer basket, ensuring they aren’t touching each other. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for around 5-6 minutes until golden brown.
Glazing
  1. In a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar and 2-3 tablespoons of milk, whisking until smooth for the glaze.
  2. Once the donuts are slightly cooled, dip one side in the glaze and set aside to allow it to set.
Serving
  1. Serve these delicious donuts fresh and indulge in the warm, sweet goodness!

Notes

Store donuts in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days; refrigerate for a week or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in the air fryer for a minute or two.
