  • 1/4 cup olive oil To drizzle over the chicken.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • to taste fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil, and rub it evenly over the chicken.
  3. Sprinkle the minced garlic, salt, and black pepper over the chicken, ensuring every piece is coated.
  4. Generously sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over the chicken breasts.
  5. Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is golden brown. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).
  6. Once the chicken is done, remove it from the oven, let it rest for a few minutes, and garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For healthier options, consider substituting half of the parmesan with a lower-fat cheese or using breadcrumbs for an extra crispy finish. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes for best results.
