Preparation
- Start by cutting the sirloin steak into bite-sized cubes, ensuring they are roughly even in size for consistent cooking.
- Sprinkle the steak cubes with salt and pepper to taste.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Ensure the skillet is hot before adding the steak.
- Add the seasoned steak cubes to the skillet, making sure not to crowd them. Sear for about 2-3 minutes on one side without flipping.
- When they develop a nice brown crust, flip and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
- Reduce the heat to low and add the minced garlic to the skillet. Stir and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet, allowing it to melt into the savory sauce. Toss everything well to ensure the steak bites are thoroughly coated.
- Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and transfer to a serving platter. Serve immediately.
Notes
For different meat cuts, flank steak or ribeye can be used. Avoid overcooking the steak; a meat thermometer can help ensure it's cooked to your liking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
