Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cubed Tender sirloin steak is ideal for this dish.
  • 4 tablespoons butter Divided into two parts for cooking.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic adds great flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Used for seasoning.
  • for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped Adds a fresh finish to the dish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by cutting the sirloin steak into bite-sized cubes, ensuring they are roughly even in size for consistent cooking.
  2. Sprinkle the steak cubes with salt and pepper to taste.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Ensure the skillet is hot before adding the steak.
  2. Add the seasoned steak cubes to the skillet, making sure not to crowd them. Sear for about 2-3 minutes on one side without flipping.
  3. When they develop a nice brown crust, flip and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and add the minced garlic to the skillet. Stir and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet, allowing it to melt into the savory sauce. Toss everything well to ensure the steak bites are thoroughly coated.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and transfer to a serving platter. Serve immediately.

Notes

For different meat cuts, flank steak or ribeye can be used. Avoid overcooking the steak; a meat thermometer can help ensure it's cooked to your liking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
