Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter Can be substituted with coconut oil for dairy-free.
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Mix-ins
  • 1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles Ensure they are Halal-compliant.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat and let it cool slightly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Whisk until smooth, then add the eggs one at a time and whisk until well combined. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the rainbow sprinkles.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into your prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula. Bake for about 25 minutes or until the edges are set but the center remains fudgy.
  2. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan before cutting into bite-sized pieces.

Notes

For a fudgier brownie, slightly underbake them. They will continue to cook while cooling. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for a month.
