Preparation
- Start by peeling the bananas and slicing them into thick rounds, about 1 inch thick.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, place the chocolate chips. Microwave on medium power in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
- Using a fork or a toothpick, dip each banana slice into the melted chocolate, allowing the excess to drip off.
- Place the chocolate-coated bananas on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Drizzle a small amount of caramel sauce over each slice while the chocolate is still warm.
- Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle a tiny pinch of sea salt over each bite.
- Place the baking sheet into the freezer and let the bites freeze for at least 1–2 hours until firm.
- Once frozen, enjoy them right away or transfer them to a sealed container for longer storage.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 months. Best enjoyed straight from the freezer. Avoid reheating.
