- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix using your hands to incorporate the flavors.
- Take small handfuls of the mixture and shape them into oval patties or form them around skewers.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or your skillet over medium-high on the stovetop. Lightly oil the grill grates if using a grill.
Cooking
- Grill the kafta for about 5-7 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
- If using a skillet, cook until golden brown and no longer pink inside.
Serving
- Let the kafta rest for a few minutes. Serve warm with garlic sauce, yogurt sauce, tomatoes, lettuce, or pickles.
