Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup protein powder Choose your preferred type of protein powder.
  • 1/2 cup oats Regular rolled oats work well.
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup almond butter Can be substitutes with peanut butter or sunflower seed butter.
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Maple syrup makes it vegan.
  • 1/2 cup almond milk Any nut milk or dairy milk is fine.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract For enhanced flavor.
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles Choose your favorite color sprinkles.

Preparation
  1. Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the protein powder and oats. Stir until well mixed.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), almond milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until fully incorporated.
  5. Gently fold in the sprinkles, being careful not to overmix.
  6. Transfer the mixture to the lined baking dish and press it down firmly into an even layer.
  7. Refrigerate the bars for at least one hour until firm.
  8. Once chilled, lift the bars out of the dish using the parchment paper and cut into bars.

Notes

These protein bars store well in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months. Let them sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before serving to revive their texture.
