Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Wash the blueberries under cold water and drain them.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Add in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir gently until combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Evenly distribute the blueberries on top of the batter.
Baking
- Place the baking dish in your preheated oven. Bake for about 45-50 minutes, or until the cobbler is golden brown on top and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cobbler to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm, ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. If a different fruit is desired, substitute blueberries accordingly and adjust sugar based on tartness.
