Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries Wash and drain before use.
  • 1 cup sugar Can adjust based on the sweetness of the blueberries.
Batter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted Ensure it’s fully melted before mixing.
  • 2 tsps baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Wash the blueberries under cold water and drain them.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Add in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir gently until combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  6. Evenly distribute the blueberries on top of the batter.
Baking
  1. Place the baking dish in your preheated oven. Bake for about 45-50 minutes, or until the cobbler is golden brown on top and a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Allow the cobbler to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm, ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. If a different fruit is desired, substitute blueberries accordingly and adjust sugar based on tartness.
