Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk until well combined.
- In a separate large bowl, mix the melted butter with the eggs, red food coloring, and vanilla extract until fully integrated.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet blend, stirring gently until just moist. Avoid over-mixing! Consider adding white chocolate chips for extra sweetness.
- Transfer the batter into your prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
Baking
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Do not overbake.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. Once cooled, cut into squares and enjoy!
